With a bit of inspiration from French and Dutch colonial building styles, a new group of minifigures gets a home!

I was excited to use some unique colors on this house, particularly the cool green. That color worked well with white and adding some azure was an easy choice!

I wanted to work some arches into the build, not only around the perimeter, but also for the windows, and I was able to do that on both sides of the door.

I also played around with several parts to find some new uses… for instance, the forester’s hat above!

I wanted a wood color to frame the windows and door, but brown seemed like it would stand out too much. Instead, tan worked perfectly.

This is the first build I’ve used so much cool green on, but it probably won’t be the last!

A few more interesting parts found uses here… Brickheadz eyes and a pair of bowls!

I imagine this kid is a bit of a jokester!
