Totally immersive scenes built out of LEGO bricks rank high on my preference list when it comes to the perfect creation, and I enjoyed building this corridor, complete with arched wood ribs for the roof and torches along the wall.
Set in ancient Babylon, this scene portrays the Captain of the Guard (Arioch) as he takes a young Daniel to his audience with King Nebuchadnezzar. (Daniel 2:24-25a)

I had mediated a scene before Nebuchadnezzar himself, but in the end decided I would rather build a corridor than a throne room. The textured wall was enjoyable and this was the first I’ve ever used the inset technique for grays.
When it came to building the torch holders, I instantly recalled soccersnyderi recent candles and adapted them a bit.

Very nice! The Bley is a really nice touch in the other-wise relatively simple stonework, it works very nicely! I also like the assortment of minifigs 😉
Thank you! 🙂 I had been wanting to do the inset style for some time!
