Forest Tree House

Building a tree house has always been on my LEGO “bucket list,” and a friend giving me a bunch of bright flower pieces proved the perfect excuse!

This was a pretty complex build, I used what was to me a new technique for the rockwork and the roof of the house was quite tricky!

Using so many bright colors was a blast, and I enjoyed being able to incorporate a butterfly design that I came up with a while ago!

I got a few light blue flowers recently – look out for them in future builds as that’s one of my favorite colors for flowers!

The waterfall wasn’t easy, but the end result looks satisfyingly flowing.

I’ve used this same basic technique for tree trunks before, but never at this smaller size.  It worked quite well here however!

Count the butterflies in this next picture!

The walkway isn’t for the faint of heart, but then, what tree house ever was?

One last picture of the smallest tree!

This was fun to build, although it took me well over a month!  The footprint looked small, but once I got into the trees, the MOC just seemed to get bigger and bigger!

Enjoy, and thank you for stopping by!

    1. Thank you! I can’t actually remember exactly how I discovered the butterflies… it was quite a while ago, and I was just fiddling around with different pieces. I usually have a few tablescraps like that lying around and waiting for a MOC!
